Our goal was to modernize a villa from the 1980s in vienna's 17th district, focusing on the ideas of sustainability and structural improvements. With aging supply lines and a deteriorating main sewer needing urgent attention we focused on these improvements as well as inlcuding new low-maintenance floors with underfloor heating for comfort and better air quality. We also took into consideration the access routes from the street to the entrance, including structural changes like translucent glass construction in the vestibule. We also proposed relocating the entrance stairs in the garden to create a more direct path to the entrance door, enhancing the representative impression of the house.
