A retirement home for 48 elderly people and two apartment houses with 31 apartment units, including 15 assisted living apartments, was designed. The mountainous environment and a local landmark building took part in the design process. We separated the given floor space in several 2-3 storied structures and created a consistent roof style, which fits into the traditional surrounding area. An underground parking garage was planned as well.
