This project involved modernizing two existing floors in an office tower in Vienna's 21st district. Our primary objective was to create a contemporary and flexible open-plan seating concept. To achieve this, we designed an oval fabric core that conceals the building's inner workings, differentiating for the floors with different colored fabric; within the core are also private lounge spaces, small meeting rooms, bathrooms, etc. This rounded fabric wall also reduces noise levels in the primary workspaces that are loacted outside of the core, creating a collaborative but quiet co-working space.
